Evaluation of an existing business

Many businesses do not have in-house expertise, qualified personnel or the experience to be able to review all aspects of their operations successfully. Others who may be able to identify the weaknesses in their existing systems, but may not know how to address the issues and provide solutions to remedy these. We will assist in both instances by means of a comprehensive Review and suggested improvements to cover existing weaknesses and suggest improvements to the management.

Organisation of personnel

The human resources of every business are one of the most valuable assets of the operation and also one of the most expensive costs. An effective organisation of this aspect of the business will generally play the leading part of any reorganisation undertaken. We would play an important role in making any improvement that our clients will make and will assist with all changes which need to be made, after conducting or assisting any review that our clients make.

Progression of management and staff

All organisations need to update their Systems, Training of personnel and motivation of their teams; however, this is often neglected through a lack of expertise and commitment. Often this happens by default because the management is too busy to devote time and resources on this function. Our involvement will ensure that this does not happen.

Providing on-going management advice

All businesses need ongoing management advice and regular reviews of existing procedures and systems including matters such as Health & Safety and Employment regulations. Improving this function and ensuring that a "Plan, Do & Review" sequence is put into place and used at periodic intervals to ensure compliance does produce a maximum effect.

Organisation of appropriate systems

Many businesses do not have the appropriate systems in place or have organised reporting procedures in their Sales and Purchase and Finance departments. This is due to a lack of expertise or a failure to know what is available. Having the expertise and experience together with a "hands on involvement" will assist clients achieving these goals.

Organisation of management reports

Management and financial reporting play the most important part of a well-run company. We have the expertise and experience to design and organise this area of a client's business by implementing the appropriate business tools and organising the reporting structure to ensure this happens, in addition we ensure that our presence at Management or Board meetings delivers the necessary reporting.

Liaison with financial institutions

Dealing with financial institutions such as Banks or other Lenders can be difficult and time consuming. In addition any negotiations for borrowing and reconstruction of a business’s finances can be tricky and requires particular expertise and experience, which we can provide. Our connections with the Banks and other institutions will ensure that this is done effectively.

Representation in the UK for overseas clients

This is aimed at overseas businesses and companies that trade in the UK or would like to expand their operations into the UK. We have many clients whom we assist in this way and make the process easier by providing efficient and cost effective solutions for all commercial and fiscal arrangements. In addition we advise and participate in any necessary Location of premises, Recruitment and Provision of facilities.

Dispute Mediation & Arbitration

Increasingly many disputes are now settled this way, instead of a very costly court hearing. It is generally carried out at our premises during a 3 hour session for which each party pays a fixed fee of £300 + VAT before the Mediation session begins. As neither party has to accept it settlement by a court is still available if an agreement is not found. Arrangements can be made to hold these meetings at a client premises or other venue. There will of course be an additional charge for travel time and costs.

Non-Executive Directorships & Annual Consultancy arrangements

Non-Executive directorships and annual consultancy packages start from as little as £500 per month depending on the requirements of the engagement. The scope of work, frequency and venue of meetings are agreed in advance by both parties and a fixed fee package is agreed.
